Art Clay Silver is a lump clay which contains fine particles of 99.99% hallmarkable silver, together with a non toxic binder and water. This enables you to model this medium like any other clay, but once fired either by butane torch or in a kiln produces a solid hallmarkable pure silver creation.
A strong low firing clay. Due its lower range of kiln temperatures, a wider range of stones can be fired with Art Clay. Glass, ceramics, sterling and other metals can be fired safely with this clay. Shrinkage rate 8—9%
Can be fired on a gas hob, torch fired or fired in a kiln - temperature range 1472°F to 1200°F (650 - 800degC)
